Addresses

For reference to U.S. states within body copy, spell out the state name on first usage (for example, Massachusetts, then use MA if necessary for future mentions on the same page).

On a 'contact' page that lists mailing addresses for our U.S. offices, the state abbreviation is appropriate. 

Use periods in U.S., except in a heading or subject line. Don't use periods for UK or EU.
